Tumultuous and arduous roads of life
I travelled to carve my destiny
There were ripples of gloom;
blossoms and bloom
As I traversed those terrains with glee
With wings of passion, I rode on winds
Flying high on clouds of wonderment
I ran the race, keeping up the pace
Climbing up the ladder from the ground to the crescent
Oh, life’s leaves! on a twisted twig!
You have given me my share of my nemesis I deserve
There are joyful smiles, or turbulent riles
I humbly accept your ruling with vigor and verve.
Destiny! You are my beloved fate
I surrender to you, as you for me await
Bouquets and brickbats; slurs or affectionate pats
