Time Travel
Oh, how I’d love to travel to the past
Across the tapestry of times bygone
Looking for those long-lost moments
In the dungeons where desires are forlorn
I’d pluck each of them to give them wings
And then tug them hard till they reach the sky
There’d be no guilts or unfulfilled dreams
I’d see them soaring and flying high
I’d repair and restore the broken core
Tears those that stood just to breach the eye
A kind word, a gesture of warmth and love
Rekindling the awry bonds that died
Going back to the lanes of yesterday
I would unravel the mysteries of the yore
Stealing every moment that I forgot to live
I’d bask in those magical moments as before.
