Buoyant spirits

When after a downpour, there form ponds and puddles,

I have a strong urge to paper boats sail

To watch with awe chugging of whistling trains

As it turns and twists to change its rails

The dark abyss of the heart, from the deep valleys brightens

When the azure vault holds a colorful vibrant rainbow

When an airplane swishes across over my head

A unique excitement is what my glowing face shows

The little birdie as it cocks her head on the window sill

And the motley kites swish their tails serpentine

A rope-swing from the tall jackfruit tree to the horizon leaps

My laughter knows no boundaries as I hug the aura divine

Little silvery drops of the drizzle moisten me and my barren soul

I jump with Joy and dance in gay abandon like the peacock proud

Drenching my worries and woes; drowning them deep underneath

Gleeful laughter resounding loud, to wipe away the hazy shroud

Keep that boisterous, exuberant, ebullient child in you alive,

Laugh, guffaw, and let vibrant, vivacious happiness resound

Let cheerful vibes resonate, echoing joyful bubbly plethora of glee

There would be a colorful, enchanting world of bliss and pure ecstasy around!
